Description

A beautiful heirloom runner bean that was grown in the same family for over one hundred years! Huge beans have to be seen to be believed and come in a gorgeous mix of colors including pink mottled black, lavender mottled brown and pure white. The pods are also huge and can be eaten as a snap when very young.  Once dried, these colourful beans may be cooked in recipes that require dried beans.

This bean is truly one of the most ornamental vegetables you can grow. The vigorous vines are covered in a mix of white and almost fluorescent orange/red flowers all summer long and also attracts hummingbirds. Simply breathtaking!  And the hummingbirds will move in to be close to these fire orange blooms all summer long!

approx 15 seeds per packet.

These grew very well for me on an archway and produced a beautiful mix of blooms which the hummingbirds loved! They had a long season of bloom too! Highly recommend!

Beautiful flowers that attracted hummingbirds and pollinators and the prettiest dried beans you have ever seen … tied with Sunset Runner (though I prefer the flowers of Sunset Runner and will never have a garden without them again).
