2025 Will be the first release of this 5th year seedling born here at Seeds of IMBOLC. She is a keeper – reliable, weather proof, floriferous, great tuber producer, long strong stems, useful colour, really holds her centre, a real 5.5’+ standout in a bouquet or in the garden. Short IG video
My introductions have the prefix HarmElle which is a comination of my 2 beautiful grandaughters, Harmony and Ellie.
Great 4″ sized blooms for cut flowers with a good vase life. Changing with the seasons, beginning with peach sherbet incurved petals surrounding a golden centre, becoming more peachy orange with the cooler weather or more shade. They seem to glow with the sunset. An outstanding bloom that captures the eye of florists – she has already graced a few weddings!
I hope she captures your heart as much as she has mine.

A lovely message I received “We are placing a dahlia order today, mainly because of the name of your business; it attracted my husband’s interest.
We were married on February 2nd, also known as Imbolc, or Candlemass. This year it will be our fortieth wedding anniversary.
We are both avid gardeners. (I am certain that is what has helped to keep us together).
It will be fitting to grow a new release from Imbolc this year to mark the occasion.
Feb 2 is our English anniversary. ..”
Our best wishes to you for your growing year ahead.”
These huge pastel lavender blooms are a captivating mix of lavender tones, ranging from soft pastels to deeper shades, with delicate hints of cloud pink throughout. The plant is strong and stocky at 3 ½
Ferncliff Rusty was on my wish list for a long time. I can't think of a more useful coloured dahlia. Its multi-toned moody blooms lend themselves to pair with so many colour schemes.
A rusty coral-orange shade, difficult to describe. Dusty rose with hints of coral - the centre lightly kissed with dark plum. 3.5" ball form is perfection. 3.5-4' plants are sturdy with nice long stems for cutting. Blooms that seriously just. don't. stop. from initial bloom early in the season till frost.
Another outstanding and hard to get variety from Halls of Heddon. I was very impressed with this stunning variety! Very floriferous.
Medium Fimbriated (laciniated) variety with lovely blends of soft pink and lemon. By Peter Haslhofer from Austria. A good garden variety for both cutting & a top class variety for the show.
This unique novelty anemone type is a must have! There’s nothing else like it on the market!
Plants are smothered in long-stemmed flowers all season long. Blooms are both weather resistant & long lasting in the vase. Layers of creamy petals, streaked with cranberry encircle a large, fluffy golden centre. No two flowers are the same. Polka starts out as a blush bloom, before it develops the signature yellow heart with fine lining. Truly one-of-a kind and a favourite of mine.
