There is just something special about Anemone type dahlias – adorable!!
3″ Flowers on a 3.5′ Plant ADS Classification: AN OR
Golden apricot orange/pink anemone form blooms with a flush of peach on the back petals. Petals fold back as the bloom opens to allow the bees a golden fluffy pillow to land on. Wonderful to mix with any pastel colour palettes. Nice stems make this a great addition to any bouquets.
2025 Will be the first release of this 5th year seedling born here at Seeds of IMBOLC. She is a keeper - reliable, weather proof, floriferous, great tuber producer, long strong stems, useful colour, really holds her centre, a real 5.5'+ standout in a bouquet or in the garden. Short IG video
My introductions have the prefix HarmElle which is a comination of my 2 beautiful grandaughters, Harmony and Ellie.
Great 4" sized blooms for cut flowers with a good vase life. Changing with the seasons, beginning with peach sherbet incurved petals surrounding a golden centre, becoming more peachy orange with the cooler weather or more shade. They seem to glow with the sunset. An outstanding bloom that captures the eye of florists - she has already graced a few weddings!
I hope she captures your heart as much as she has mine.
Ferncliff Rusty was on my wish list for a long time. I can't think of a more useful coloured dahlia. Its multi-toned moody blooms lend themselves to pair with so many colour schemes.
A rusty coral-orange shade, difficult to describe. Dusty rose with hints of coral - the centre lightly kissed with dark plum. 3.5" ball form is perfection. 3.5-4' plants are sturdy with nice long stems for cutting. Blooms that seriously just. don't. stop. from initial bloom early in the season till frost.
This unique novelty anemone type is a must have! There’s nothing else like it on the market!
Plants are smothered in long-stemmed flowers all season long. Blooms are both weather resistant & long lasting in the vase. Layers of creamy petals, streaked with cranberry encircle a large, fluffy golden centre. No two flowers are the same. Polka starts out as a blush bloom, before it develops the signature yellow heart with fine lining. Truly one-of-a kind and a favourite of mine.
