‘Slow-living Series’ of fun & informative workshops, provided to reconnect to nature, your roots, food & beauty. Live more sustainably, more connected, slower, deeper.

Come learn the art of crafting a hand-tied bouquet with the freshest spring blooms, harvested right at the farm. If you have a wedding or event coming up in your future this would be a wonderful time to learn this timeless technique. You will create some floral magic yourself.  No experience necessary for this fun, relaxing workshop. Let the floral creativity begin!

We will start off with a tour of the farm, which is normally closed to the public, answering your questions & seeing where & how the in-season flowers grow. A lovely time to enjoy being at the farm, surrounded by beautiful flowers and good company. After an in depth demonstration, participants will craft their own bouquets and can choose to finish them with ribbons and tissue wrap or place them in a vase for an easy-breezy arrangement to take home.

Learn this technique which will be so useful for making bouquets anytime, for a friend in the hospital or just because; spread the joy of gorgeous blooms. Use it to create gorgeous, textural, relaxed bouquets, wedding or event centrepieces.

Workshop purchases are non-refundable. If the workshop does not reach a minimum of 5 participants, it may be cancelled in which case you will be fully refunded. No refunds or transfers are offered for students who can not make it after registeringIn case of severe weather, the class may be rescheduled or cancelled. Students will be notified in advance as much as possible and refunds will be issued as needed if Seeds of Imbolc chooses to cancel a class.

 Katherine Granger is a Master Gardener, creator of Seeds of IMBOLC in Fergus; a grower of heirloom organic seeds, plants & flowers & florist. As an instructor with the U.G.D.S.B Continuing Ed, held engaging workshops focusing on sustainability and our intrinsic connection with nature. Kat has been featured on the Cogeco cable TV show “Let’s Get Growing” several times, featured in OMAFRA produce videos, spoken at Canada Blooms, Pollination Guelph Symposium, many Horticultural Societies & many other venues. this is a working farm, the ground can be uneven, please dress appropriately as we will be in the workshop, greenhouse and/or outside. Close toed shoes, layers, sun/bug protection, water bottle, note pad.

*Registration is non-refundable. A minimum of 5 is required for the course to run.
