Description

Experience the art of floral design at our immersive workshop, where you’ll create lush arrangements using farm-fresh flowers, including our stunning dahlias. Set on our beautiful Centre Wellington flower farm, this hands-on workshop is designed for all skill levels—no prior experience required. You’ll begin with a guided tour of the farm, normally closed to the public, where you’ll learn about the flowers we grow and how to pick and care for them.
After an in-depth demonstration by flower farmer and Master Gardener Katherine Granger, you’ll craft your own floral masterpiece in an attractive vessel to take home. Our approach is foam- and chemical-free, focusing on sustainable floristry and locally grown elements. Explore your own style while learning color theory, bouquet mechanics, and the movement of different floral shapes.
Enjoy the entire process from seed to vase, with light refreshments provided. The workshop is a relaxing, creative experience—perfect for those planning a wedding or special event, or anyone looking to learn a timeless technique. All materials are included, but please bring your own gardening gloves if needed.
Workshops are non-refundable and require a minimum of five participants to run. In case of severe weather, classes may be rescheduled or cancelled with refunds issued as needed. Students must be 14 years or older due to the use of sharp tools. If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to give your spot to a friend. Join us for a memorable day of floral creativity, mindfulness, and fun!
