Artemisia annua – ‘Sweet Annie’
(Sweet annie; Qing-guo) Sweetly aromatic herb with fragrant green fern-like leaves on tall, graceful plants. In fall they shine as masses of flowers like little beads bloom at the tips of the branches. A crafters dream; its highly aromatic branches are used in dried floral arrangements and to make scented wreaths and is fabulous filler for mixed bouquets. I love its fresh, clean, herby scent!
A modern medical star, this Chinese antimalarial herb is our last line of defense in parts of the world where the malaria parasite has become resistant to all other drugs. Has been cultivated in China for at least 2000 years.Its isolated constituents show promise as an anticancer agent as well.

Bean – ‘Marvel of Venice’ yellow pole bean
54 days. Sweet, flat, yellow beans are ready to pick early in the season and continue to produce until frost. This Italian heirloom has 20-24 cm. long, 2 cm. wide beans on vigorous vines. It is really early, producing lots of delicious, tender, yellow wax beans. They are beautiful, flat, long beans with a rich buttery flavour. Minimum of 30 seeds per packet.

Beautiful peach-pink blossoms are one of a kind! Attractive enough for flower gardens or patios, but this one is in a class by itself with luminous peach to shell-pink blossoms - absolutely unique! Vines to 6' (2m) or so, covered with cascades of runner bean pods, equally wonderful whether used as snaps fresh, canned or frozen, or as shell beans. Can also be used as a dry bean. Lovely!

Bean ‘Trionfo Violetto’ Pole Bean
Translated from Italian, this bean's name means "purple triumph", and this Italian heirloom will surely win you over! This treasure is a crisp, flavorful treat & highly ornamental. Abundant lavender flowers bloom against lush green foliage with a hint of burgundy that almost seems to be applied with a water-color brush. All of this accented against slender, dark stems, and long, thin, purple beans that are delicious fresh off the vine! It is so pretty you may want to grow it even if you don’t eat a single bean!

BUPLEURUM ‘Green Gold’ Seed
A classic filler for bouquets. Such a unique plant! Great in the garden or a stunning 'filler' in beautiful bouquets!
Erect plants produce 2 1/2" yellow-lime green flowers atop long, wiry stems with foliage reminiscent of Eucalyptus with intriguing stems that appear to grow through the leaf. Excellent for mixed bouquets and makes a unique dried flower. Versatile and easy to grow. Try combining the airy stems with brilliant jewel tones or simple clean whites and greens.
Though not well known outside of Dutch flower auctions where it commands a price similar to roses, this unique plant with yellowish flowers and round leaves is treasured by dried-flower growers.
