Sylvan Gaume heirloom tomato plant
An old heirloom from Canada that was obtained from an elderly man in his 80s. The original seed was from Russia. This excellent variety produces gigantic (3lbs or more!) red oxheart shaped fruit. Extremely vigorous plant yields hundreds of 1" round to slightly elongated, bright red fruits, famous for flavour. The superb flavor won it top billing over 100 other varieties in an Australian taste test.Originated in the Ozarks around 1900, but also exceedingly popular in Australia, however some say it originates down under. This variety has a good resistance to most diseases and has plenty of juice. New for 2017! Quantities limited.
