Poppy – Breadseed Poppy Mix
This mix is a colourful blend of reds, lavenders and others. Adds beauty and colour to your garden! The pods are excellent for dried crafts and dry or fresh for arrangements! Its seeds, which do not contain alkaloids, are widely used on breads, cakes, bagels and in Middle Eastern delicacies. The seeds also yield a good quality oil used for salads, soap, ointments and paints.

Poppy – Pink Peony ‘Double Bubble’
Papaver somniferum var. paeoniflorum
Simply stunning - gorgeous pink full glorious blooms - same colour as our favourite bubblegum! Luscious peony type blooms. (See under Blog section for poppy info)
Peony poppy is also sometimes called double garden poppy because it produces large, double blooms that typically span 4 to 5 inches across. The plant reaches an average of height of 2 to 3 feet. The flowers have the characteristic papery, ruffled appearance and texture of other poppies. The attractive foliage has rounded leaves accented with feathery edging. The large seed pods that appear after flowering work well in dried floral arrangements and you can use them for crafts.
Peony poppy prefers organically rich, well-draining soil in full sun. Annual. Will self seed.
Poppy ‘Dazzling Delights’ Mix

The pleated blooms pirouette gracefully at the ends of the wiry stems. One of the most ephemeral and delicate flowers that I grow, Shirley poppies steal the hearts of everyone who visits our garden. Pollinators love them!

Poppy ‘Giganthemum ‘
Papaver somniferum. The very largest poppy flowers appear in early summer, followed by the very largest seed heads which are stunning in arrangements. The huge seed head is chock full of edible poppy seeds for baking. This is an easy plant to grow, but you'll want to give it some room in full sun, in soil that is well drained and not too fertile. Direct sow the tiny seeds on the surface of the soil and keep the area moist until germination. They need light to germinate. The massive flower stems grow 90-120cm (36-48") tall, topped by flowers around 10cm (4") across. Bees love these!

Poppy ‘Hens ‘n Chicks ‘
Papaver somniferum This ancient form of poppy is perhaps the most unique variety of all! It has amazing large pink blooms, but the very cool thing is clusters of mini pods that surround the primary seed pod! The name refers to its resemblance to a hen being surrounded by her chicks. Highly coveted by fine florists who use the unusual seed heads in arrangements.

While many varieties in the poppy family have large disc-shaped petals, these beautiful flowers have the edges of their blooms feathered so they look like pom-poms of brightly coloured crêpe paper. A real stunner!
