A mix of creamy soft yellow with tips outlined brown & dark brown eye. This unreal beauty is great for bouquets and wedding work.

They are long-lasting cut or dried flowers, and edible too! Deer resistant and can be grown in containers.

Calendula is incredibly versatile with boundless culinary, healing, pest repelling and ornamental properties. Fast growing – blooming from seeds in just 2 months. Often called English marigolds, loved by beneficial insects, petals can be used as fabric dye, edible, used medicinally as salves! Foliage is sticky, so wear gloves when harvesting.

Calendula may be direct-sown as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring, succession plant every 2-3 weeks to stagger harvest OR raise indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost as transplants.  Hardy Annual. Summer to fall-flowering. Will self seed here in Zone 5.

Pick when flowers are ½ way open. With flower food, expect a vase life of 6-7 days.
