Foxglove Mix
Stately Digitalis purpurea, also known as foxglove, has tall stunning spikes of tubular flowers. The long-stemmed flowers are good for cutting and drying. This old fashioned mix is a beautiful blend of lavender-blush, pink and white spires with freckled throats, as well as some pure white. Stunning in the garden and when arranged en masse.

Share decades of growing experience turning barren patches and empty pots into bountiful harvests with Master Gardener Kat Granger. Enjoy the deep rewarding connection with nature and food - starting right in your own garden.
Live more sustainably, more connected, slower, deeper. We will start off with an overview of the farm, start seeds, learn about seed germination testing, sprouting seeds (think microgreens/sprouts), do some garden planning. Learn about soil blocking, grow lights, heat mats, fertilization and so much more.
Plant your own seeds now and come transplant at the April/May workshop to take home to your garden later.
Enjoy the entire process, seed to plate. Light refreshments will be provided.

This 'SlowLiving Series' of fun & informative workshops is provided to reconnect to nature, your roots, food & beauty.You do not have to take #1 to enjoy workshop #2.
Live more sustainably, more connected, slower, deeper. We will start off with an overview of the farm, with an inside/outside tour, weather permitting.
We will be working with plant babies, seeds & blooms.Transplant your seedling started at workshop #1 (if you attended but not necessary) at the April/May workshop to take home to your garden. A continuation of learning about growing your own food & flowers, how, what, when & whys. We will discuss flowers as well as food & everything involved. You will be more confident & armed with knowledge based on years of experience to head into the growing season!
Enjoy the entire process, seed to plate/vase. Light refreshments will be provided.

Mostly Red Russian a.k.a “Ragged Jack” Superb purple-veined, blue-green leaves with red-purple frilly leaf margins. Very hardy. Sow 3–4 seeds 30-45cm apart, 1cm deep, in rows 45-91cm apart. Thin to 1 plant per group, or grow as microgreens!
