Nigella hispanica ‘Delft Blue’
Nigella hispanica 'Delft Blue'
Hardy Annual with unique, 1½–2" flowers named for the famous Dutch Delft blue pottery. (with a bit more purple tone) White petals are brushed with a watercolour wash of varying shades of blue and gray with intricate deep-purple centers - fantastic at attracting pollinators. Produces unusual seed pods that can be used in fresh or dried arrangements. (Erin at Floret "...my favorites including ‘Delft Blue'..")
They excel as long-lasting cut flowers (7 days esp with preservative)  Seed pods are equally as breathtaking.

Painted Daisy -Tricolour Chrysanthemum Rainbow Mix
Painted Daisy -Tricolour Chrysanthemum Rainbow Mix
a.k.a. Annual Chrysanthemum, Painted Daisy, 'Fancy Pants Daisy Mix' (Ismelia carinata syn. Chrysanthemum carinatum)  Annual Painted Daisy is simply a treasure!  Every flower lover deserves a big stand of Painted Daisies, their merry bulls-eye patterns and multitude of bright colours (purple, orange, scarlet, rose, salmon, yellow and white shades) delighting the senses with every new bloom. They are very easy to grow, and the best news is that once you sow your first batch of these annuals, they will obligingly re-seed for you, year after glorious year! These blooms are just so cheery -- about 3 inches wide, with concentric rings of colours in two or even three brilliant shades. No two blooms will be just alike on these plants, which reach anywhere from 18 inches to 3 feet tall, and range from about 15 to 18 inches wide. Heavy flowering annuals produce loads of showy, daisy-like flowers which are long-lasting cut. Expect the first blooms by midsummer, and watch them keep going (faster if cut or deadheaded!) right into the middle of fall in most climates. Cut back after bloom for repeat in late summer. What a season!

Paul Robeson Tomato – SEED
Paul Robeson Tomato – SEED
90 days. This famous tomato has almost a cult following among seed collectors and tomato connoisseurs. They simply cannot get enough of this variety's amazing flavor that is so distinctive, sweet and smokey. 7-10 oz. fruit are a black-brick color. Named in honor of the famous opera singer star of 'King Solomon's Mines', 1937. Paul Robeson was an equal rights advocate who stood up the the infamous McCarthy committee in the 1950's and had his career nearly destroyed as a result. He was idolized in Russia as well as all around the world. This Russian heirloom was lovingly named in his honor. Indeterminate but in my garden very well behaved so I would say semi-indeterminate

Pea – ‘Tom Thumb Dwarf’ Pea
Pea – ‘Tom Thumb Dwarf’ Pea
At 8" - 12" tall, this aptly named dwarf pea is ideal for container gardening/raised beds and is very frost-tolerant. Produces lots of delicious peas per plant and the peas can be used as whole pods when young or mature shelling peas. No trellis support needed. The size makes patio gardening a breeze, and kids also will love these. Fast growing and low maintenance. Try some today! Originating in England and introduced in the United States in the mid-19th century, there were several strains of this variety; over time, further reductions in height and time to maturity were achieved, leading to the pea we know as Tom Thumb today. Shell, 50-55 days. Peas thrive in cool weather. Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring and in later summer. In addition to containers, Tom Thumb is good for cold-frame production and for planting in flower borders. Approximate seeds per pack: 25

Pepper – Black Hungarian
Pepper – Black Hungarian
(Capsicum annuum) Beautifully bold and decidedly sweet… There’s a drama to the Hungarian black pepper that’s 100% its own. Its dark-hued skin turns to a rich jewel tone red as it ages, and it delivers a certain sweetness at maturity quite unlike other chilies in its heat range. This is a chili that fits both form and function, working beautifully as both an ornamental pepper and a culinary chili.
